Frog virus 3; Frog Virus; Ranaviruses
A genus of IRIDOVIRIDAE which infects amphibians. It is non-pathogenic for its natural host, Rana pipiens, but is lethal for tadpoles and Fowler toads. Frog virus 3 is the type species.
